Dillon Osleger, Executive Director

Dillon Osleger PhotoStriving to merge his passions for the outdoors and science, Dillon has spent decades on trails and in classrooms. Earning a B.S. in geology with a minor in hydrology from Montana State University, an M.S. in earth science from UC Santa Barbara, and working as an ecologist for the National Park Service has instilled an inquisitive nature. Working on trail crews and designing multi-use trails in the Sierra Nevada, enacting wildlife remediation efforts with non-profits, and advocating for public land access has given him a respect for conservation, accessibility and culture. From preserving and improving trails and habitat to increasing outdoor recreation opportunities for youth and the public, Dillon helps lead Sage’s mission to bettering the Santa Barbara and greater transverse range community.
