We’ve been busy! In July we established SAGE TrailForce a professional paid trail crew that works on our local trails 2-3 days a week.  Since July we’ve worked with this crew on many trails: Aliso Connector, Tunnel, Jesusita, Romero, Arroyo Burro north and south, Camuesa, Matias, Matias Connector, Cold Spring West Fork, McMenemy, Saddlerock, Girard, Cachuma Lake, and Murietta Trails!!

Check out our Instagram to see photos from many of those work days: https://www.instagram.com/sagetrailalliance/ A few of the trails above link through to their work day Instagram post.

We’ve also had many incredible volunteer days and hosted a very successful Trail Academy event in January:

Dillon Osleger, our new, and first, Executive Director!

And huge news for our group this April — We are now driven by our first Executive Director, Dillon Osleger!!

Right now we don’t have any upcoming volunteer events planned.  As soon as the climate changes such that it is safe to hold volunteer events again check our emails and social media to see what we have planned. In the meantime there are still opportunities to volunteer. TrailForce is going out and can often work with a couple volunteers.  Email in to info@sagetrail.org and ask about volunteer opportunities.
